Alleles :

1. A is associated to a normal content of aS2casein in the milk;
2. 0 (Null) is associated to a null content of aS2casein in the milk.

Genotypic characterisation of goat aS2casein provides:

• DNA isolation from blood, hair bulb and semen;
• PCR reaction;
• Enzymatic digestion by NcoI;
• Electrophoresis on agarose gel.
